4 3/4" closed. Knurled black aluminum housing with lanyard hole and integrated compass. Unscrew threaded cap to reveal 3 5/8" overall firestarter with 2 3/8" magnesium rod. Cap features lanyard hole with black stainless beaded ballchain and 2 7/8" overall striker.
